BODYTRONIC® 100 from medilogic

Foot health can be measured

The computer-aided foot pressure measurement system Bodytronic 100 identifies the individual load points of the foot quickly and accurately. The graphic representation shows the status of the foot and the use of different colors allows the various load areas to be identified and interpreted easily. The result is that the best possible orthopedic foot orthoses and shoes can be selected for each individual.

  • accurate and rapid analysis of individual foot status – both static and dynamic measurement processes are available
  • colored, graphical representation of the load areas under the foot
  • increases the quality of orthopedic foot orthosis and shoe provision and meets the requirements of modern occupational healthcare, accident treatment, and sports medicine

Static foot pressure management
Measurement Technique

To measure static foot pressure, the pressure distribution on the sole of the foot is calculated while standing and displayed graphically. To do this, the customer adopts a relaxed standing position while barefoot, with both feet on the measurement plate. Pressure sensors then capture the data and transmit it to the software. Additionally, information about the outline of the foot can also be captured and saved.

Analysis

The calculated measurement values can be displayed using isobaric, sensor, or 3D representation. Pressure and load points are color-coded according to intensity. The color scale ranges from blue (low pressure) to red (high pressure).

Dynamic Foot Measurement
Measurement Technique

To measure dynamic foot pressure, the pressure distribution on the sole of the foot is calculated while walking and displayed graphically. To do this, the customer walks across the measurement plate twice, barefoot and at a normal speed, each time stepping on the measurement area with one foot. Pressure sensors then capture the data and transmit it to the software.

Analysis

The calculated measurement values can be displayed using isobaric, sensor, or 3D representation. Pressure and load points are displayed graphically and color-coded according to their maximum and average intensity. The color scale ranges from blue (low pressure) to red (high pressure). Furthermore, it is also possible to analyze pressure point movement on a graph.

Tips
Tips for healthy feet

You can find information here about how to keep your feet in top condition.

Have the status of your feet checked regularly to prevent incorrect posture.

When selecting your foot orthosis, think about when you want to use it. The type of foot orthosis depends on the footwear being worn. The shoe and the foot orthosis must be coordinated with one another.
